Dean E. Ross is an attorney with the Law Offices of Scott D. Rudnick, Ltd. Mr. Ross earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources from The Ohio State University College of Agriculture and received his law degree from Capital University. He was elected to the Order of the Curia, whose membership is limited to law school students who have maintained high scholastic standing and demonstrated character, ability and love of knowledge in legal scholarship.

Originally from Tiffin, Ohio, Mr. Ross located to Darke County in 2001 to begin private practice. His legal experience includes the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections and Bank One Corporation.

Mr. Ross served six years in the United States Navy and is a Veteran of the Gulf War. During his service, he graduated from the United States Naval Nuclear Power School and received numerous honors including First medal of Good Conduct, South West Asia Service Medal with Bronze Star, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Battle Excellence Award, Joint Meritorious Unit Award and National Defense Service Medal.

Mr. Ross has been active throughout his academic and professional careers in areas of legal and environmental services including land management for The Ohio Nature Conservancy and Franklin County Metro Parks, and teaching elementary students fundamentals of law through the Street Law program.

Mr. Ross is admitted to practice law before the Courts in the State of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. He is a member of the Darke County Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
